The right two members, introduced on purpose.

Communities do not connect people, they just gather them
BuddyBoss features are live today. BOSS enhancements are custom.
What matching reads
Everything available to you.
Any combination of these, weighted however your community needs.
What they told you
Profile
- Goals and what they are working toward
- Skills, specialties, and industry
- Experience level and tenure
- Location and timezone
- Stated interests and topics
What they scored
Assessment
- Profile type from an assessment
- Learning style or working style
- Personality instrument results
- Anything ASSESS produces once it ships
What they actually do
Behavior
- Content they engage with
- Groups and forums they participate in
- Courses completed and in progress
- Activity rhythm, so night owls meet night owls
Who to whom
Match types
- Peer to peer, similar stage and goals
- Mentor to mentee, deliberately unequal
- Complementary skills, for collaboration
- Accountability partners, matched on cadence
- Into groups and teams rather than one to one
How they find out
Delivery
- Suggested connections on their profile
- In the activity feed
- By email, text, or push through the app
- An introduction message sent to both sides at once
Worked example
One introduction that changed a renewal
Neither of them would have found the other in a feed of three thousand people.
Suggested match
92 percent fit
Access
Priya: six weeks in, stuck on module 3, no connections
The profile of somebody who cancels in month four.
Access
Dana: Level 8, completed the same track, open to mentoring
Available, and she has been exactly where Priya is.
Access
Matched on goal, track, timezone, and availability
Not on random proximity in a member list.
Influence
Introduction sent to both, with context for each
Neither has to work out why they are being introduced.
Leverage
They speak weekly. Priya finishes the track
And renews, because leaving now costs her a relationship.
Recipes
Three you could build this afternoon.

Introduce both sides, do not just suggest

Three things worth knowing.
Note
Match on something the member actually cares about. Random pairing damages trust and they will ignore every future suggestion.
Note
Always let both sides opt out of matching. A mentor who is out of capacity should be able to say so without leaving the community.
Note
One good match is worth more than fifty suggestions. Fewer, better introductions.
